Taylor Health

All Missouri State students, and spouses of students, are eligible to receive care on campus at Taylor Health Center. A prepaid health fee covers the cost of basic office visits for students. Missouri State University also offers health insurance designed for students who are not currently covered by a plan.

Fitness

Child Care

As a student with a young family you will need child care services that offer the flexibility to work with your schedule.

 

Camp Bear offers a summer long academic enrichment program for kids from kindergarten through to 9th grade. It also offers a number of year-round programs during school holidays and in the evenings.

Missouri State Child Development Center can serve up to 88 children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. They are cared for and taught by highly qualified teachers. The Center is part of the Childhood Education and Family Studies Department in the College of Education. Practicum students, under the supervision of faculty and staff, complete field experiences at the Child Development Center.

University Child Care Center offers a summer program for children ages 2 to 12 from June 9 through July 30. Flexible scheduling and hourly rates are available. Families may register for four to eight weeks.

Learning Commons

Starting this summer, you will have easy one-stop access to additional services to help you improve your class performance.

The interactive space design of the new Learning Commons located at the Meyer Library brings together the resources and expertise of the faculty and library personnel, computer and information technology, the Writing Center, subject-area tutoring, campus learning communities, and supplemental instruction in an informal, collaborative environment that fosters social interaction.
The Learning Commons
